How Big can you make it?
It's the most common question I get asked! So here it is:
Up to 196" - over 16 feet in width! However, most Black Label Bespoke pieces when framed and matted fall between 70" and 115".
My process begins by starting with the end in mind. Where is the piece going? What are the surroundings? Is it a modern house or a log cabin? Perhaps an airplane hangar or an office? Other considerations are thought through as well. For example, is it a high traffic area or one with an abundance of natural light?
From this information, we will recommend the type of fine art print product and sizing that will work best for your home or office. Alternatively, some clients know exactly what they want but just need a very large size.

For my my custom work I print with multiple labs in the US and Europe, depending upon the application and print product. Not all labs print every medium or others it is easier to print closer to your home where it will be shipped. I have invested significant time and money in selecting the best.
I print on a variety of fine art papers, wet lab photo prints, acrylic prints, and metal. I also print one-of-a-kind traditionally developed dark room photography, including silver gelatin and platinum prints in extremely limited print editions. Regardless of the material, you will receive a print of the utmost quality.
If you have seen my photography in Telluride, the products are typically TruLife Acrylic Prints or Fine Art Paper prints on fiber based cotton paper. The artwork is usually mounted to dibond and placed behind Optium UV museum anti-glare and anti-scracth acrylic. Custom fabric dimensional liners and solid wood framing are oftentimes used. This is the absolute best of the best with no shortcuts or cost cutting corners.
For gallery pieces or fine art prints shown around Telluride, I use two types of custom frames: Black Italian Leather framing made in Italy or a custom closed-corner solid black oak frame with a dimensional cut wooden liner covered in a seamless linen fabric. For client specific design requests, I primarily use frames from Roma, Larson Juhl, Omega, and others.
